The weather may be hot, but the citizens of Prairietown are already planning and preparing for the long winter months ahead. Come lend a hand as we stock up on hay supplies so that we can feed the animals all year long.
Try your hand at scything, raking, and stacking hay while you learn about pasture plant identification and why hay is so important, both historically and today. You can even participate in a hay‑cutting competition at 2 p.m.
This program is free with general admission.
