Through our seasonal Foodways demonstrations, guests will explore traditional methods of making shrubs, preserves, jams, and jellies using seasonal fruits. Fruits such as mulberries, raspberries, cherries, and gooseberries are gathered and preserved, and participants are invited to take part. Together, we’ll discover the importance of food preservation and the many techniques used to extend the harvest across seasons.
