Looking for something fun for your young kiddos? Join Playtime on the Prairie, designed for our youngest guests, ages 0-5. Set up in a shady spot outdoors, children can play, explore, inquire, and learn through intentionally selected play invitations and activities.
Afternoon
Cool off from the summer heat at the River Crossing splash pad! Kids will have fun boarding the Alice Dean steamboat, firing water cannons, guiding toy boats along the river, and more. The area is full of hands-on activities that encourage pretend play and family interaction.
Or, seek out the shade at Treetop Outpost, our 4-story treehouse for guests of all ages to explore, observe, wonder, and play.
Get crafty with Make and Take activities! Try your hand at traditional Lenape basket-weaving techniques and craft a small, handmade basket of your own. Or step back in time in Prairietown and discover historic writing techniques while crafting your own quill pen.
Evening
Enjoy a night out with the whole family at Kroger Symphony on the Prairie, in partnership with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. From Let’s Sing Taylor to The Fab Four: The Ultimate Beatles Tribute, this summer’s lineup includes something for all ages and musical styles!
Or, take some parents-only time at a Golden Hour Gathering farm-to-table dinner among the Conner Prairie sunflower field, or a Corn to Cocktail event, where guests explore Indiana’s agricultural heritage through a mixology class.
