Brandy Whitaker

Associate VP of Daily Guest Experience

Brandy Whitaker, Associate Vice President of Daily Guest Experience, oversees the Camps and Recreation, Education, and Interpretation Departments at Conner Prairie Museum. Brandy holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Indiana University and a Master of Science in Educational Administration from Missouri State University. She brings eight years of experience as a classroom teacher and school administrator, paired with seven years of museum education and guest engagement experience, to her current role. This unique professional history is the foundation of a revolutionary approach to serving guests and staff alike. As an advocate for true learning and a fierce protector of people, Brandy believes radical honesty and brave disruption combine to create meaningful change. As a leader in various roles throughout her career, she demonstrates the ability to create a shared vision, empower and inspire colleagues, and deliver powerful outcomes. Outside of work, Brandy loves reading, spending time in nature, and practicing yoga. She adores her family and lives with her husband, Aron, and their five incredible children.

Conner Prairie Foundation

The Conner Prairie Foundation board of directors oversees the management of the museum's endowment and the land and structures of the museum, including the William Conner House.
