Our Board of Directors oversees operations and engages community members in supporting the museum. Conner Prairie thanks these individuals who contribute their time and expertise.

Christina Hale

Senior Leadership for the U.S. Small Business Administration

Christina Hale is an average person driven to—and successful in—making an exceptional difference. She worked her way through college as a single mother and served as a nonprofit executive for Kiwanis International in a variety of roles around the world. A former state legislator and the first Latina to run for statewide office in Indiana, Christina earned a reputation for bipartisanship and resolve. Christina was appointed by President Joe Biden and now serves in senior leadership for the U.S. Small Business Administration. She continues to advocate for people, justice, and democracy, and is the author of the Amazon bestselling book Why Not You? A Leadership Guide for the Change-Makers of Tomorrow.
