At Conner Prairie, every guest has the opportunity to pursue knowledge and fun in a way that is tailored to them. This pursuit requires strong, dedicated leadership. Our Board of Directors oversees operations and engages community members in supporting the museum. Conner Prairie thanks these individuals who contribute their time and expertise.

David Geeslin

David Geeslin

Superintendent, Indiana School for the Deaf

Dr. Geeslin graduated from the Indiana School for the Deaf in 1983 and earned his B.A. in Linguistics from Purdue University in 1989. He completed his M.A. in Deaf Education from Boston University in 1991 and his Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Indiana University in 2006.

He has served on numerous policy committees, volunteered with various organizations, and helped draft a statute recognizing American Sign Language in Indiana. As Superintendent, he held multiple roles at the Indiana School for the Deaf and served as CEASD President for two terms.

Dr. Geeslin has been married for 37 years and is actively involved with his family.

Conner Prairie Foundation

The Conner Prairie Foundation board of directors oversees the management of the museum's endowment and the land and structures of the museum, including the William Conner House.
