Jennifer Sommers

Vice President, Chief Advancement and Communications Officer

Jennifer Sommers, Conner Prairie’s Associate Vice President of Development and Marketing, joined the nonprofit sector in 2001. She holds both a BA and an MPM from the School of Public Affairs at Indiana University and is a Certified Fundraising Executive from CFRE International. She has worked in nonprofits representative of the museum field, as well as education and health and human services. Jennifer and her family enjoy regular visits to Conner Prairie and particularly enjoy the heritage breeds, Prairietown and Treetop Outpost. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys baking, running, and volunteering in the community.

Our Board of Directors oversees operations and engages community members in supporting the museum. Conner Prairie thanks these individuals who contribute their time and expertise.

Conner Prairie Foundation

The Conner Prairie Foundation board of directors oversees the management of the museum's endowment and the land and structures of the museum, including the William Conner House.
