Ronda Hamm

Director of Food, Farm and Energy Experience

Dr. Ronda Hamm is dedicated to advancing science and agriculture education to shape the future of food, farming, and sustainability. As Director of the Food, Farm, and Energy Experience at Conner Prairie, she leads an innovative initiative designed to connect research, industry, and public engagement.

With a B.S. in Agricultural Education from California State University, Fresno, and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Entomology from Cornell University, Dr. Hamm brings over 20 years of experience in the agriculture industry and community engagement. Her work focuses on connecting people to the science behind agriculture, fostering understanding among industry leaders, students, and the public.

A nationally recognized leader in STEM and agricultural education, Dr. Hamm was named an AAAS If/Then Ambassador and has received numerous accolades, including the Indiana Woman of Achievement in Science Education and the National Science Teaching Association Distinguished Informal Educator Award. She also earned the Entomological Foundation Medal of Honor for founding and leading three STEM outreach programs, one that impacted over 500,000 people in the first 5 years and all of which continue to grow.

Conner Prairie Foundation

The Conner Prairie Foundation board of directors oversees the management of the museum's endowment and the land and structures of the museum, including the William Conner House.
