At Conner Prairie, every guest has the opportunity to pursue knowledge and fun in a way that is tailored to them. This pursuit requires strong, dedicated leadership. Our Board of Directors oversees operations and engages community members in supporting the museum. Conner Prairie thanks these individuals who contribute their time and expertise.

Steve Pittman

Steve Pittman

President & Founder, Pittman Partners, Inc.

Steve Pittman is President and Founder of Pittman Partners, Inc. which is a real estate development and investment company. Steve’s development focus has been on commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments. Steve earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona in business and his MBA from Indiana University. Steve has served on many boards including First Merchants Bank, Trico Regional Sewer Utility, the Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel, the Carmel Dad’s Club, the Legacy Fund, and the Carmel Clay Education Foundation to name a few. Steve played college tennis, and still enjoys travelling the country, playing competitive tennis and spending time with his wife, Shelly, their four children, and four grandchildren. Steve and his family reside in Carmel, Indiana.

The Conner Prairie Foundation board of directors oversees the management of the museum's endowment and the land and structures of the museum, including the William Conner House.
