Director of Marketing and Brand Strategy

Vincent Black leads marketing and brand strategy at Conner Prairie, where he draws on more than a decade of experience in nonprofit marketing, creative direction, and strategic communications to deepen the ways people discover and connect with the museum. He brings a storyteller’s instinct and a strategist’s discipline to everything from brand campaigns to community engagement, helping Conner Prairie’s mission reach new audiences and resonate more deeply with the ones who already know and love it.  

An Indianapolis native, Vincent has shaped campaigns and communications for organizations across public health, education, hunger relief, and advocacy. That breadth of experience informs his approach at Conner Prairie, where he focuses on elevating visibility, driving engagement, and inspiring action. He is committed to ensuring every audience — members, guests, donors, and partners — feels a genuine connection to Conner Prairie’s mission and sees themselves as part of its future.  

Vincent believes in the power of marketing as a force for social good. He is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at Xavier University. When he’s not at work, you can find him exploring Indy’s arts and food scene and spending time with loved ones.

Conner Prairie Foundation

The Conner Prairie Foundation board of directors oversees the management of the museum's endowment and the land and structures of the museum, including the William Conner House.
