Access Pass is a program developed and administered through The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis.
Conner Prairie is proud to join forces with other local museums and cultural attractions to make fun family learning more accessible through the Access Pass program.
The Access Pass is good for one year. After enrolling or renewing in the program, qualified families will receive an Access Pass card. A qualifying adult named on the card must present the card and an Indiana photo ID at the participating organization the family is visiting.
If you are not already enrolled in the Access Pass program, please complete the Access Pass application and bring it with you, along with the required documents listed below.

The Access Pass program is open to Indiana residents who receive state assistance through any of the following:
- Hoosier Healthwise Insurance (Indiana’s health care program for low-income families, pregnant women, and children)
- SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program)
- TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families)
- CSFP (Commodity Supplement Food Program)
- HIP (Healthy Indiana Plan—Basic and Plus)

- $5 general admission per family member per visit to Conner Prairie for daytime general admission only
- Access Pass is available for most Festivals throughout the year.

When applying for the Access Pass, you’ll need to show these required documents:
- Hoosier Healthwise or Hoosier Works Enrollment Recertification Letter, issued by the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration. Letter must be issued in the primary adult cardholder’s name and verify program enrollment for the current year.
- Indiana state-issued photo ID card—either a Driver’s License or state Identification card. The name on the photo ID must match an adult name on the recertification letter. Employee or student IDs and out-of-state IDs are not accepted.
- Verification of benefits may also be accessed from the Indiana Family Social Services Administration Benefits Portal.
To apply for the Access Pass program, click the Apply Online button.
You can also download and complete the application and return it to the ticket counter of any of the participating organizations (except Indiana Repertory Theater and Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum). You may also ask for a printed application at the Conner Prairie ticket counter. The qualifying adult must be present when enrolling or utilizing benefits. The discount will not be honored if required documentation (Access Pass card and photo ID) verifying enrollment eligibility is not available.

There are many different categories of Medicaid. The only form of Medicaid that we accept for the Access Pass program is Hoosier Healthwise. If you have another form of Medicaid, please note that we don’t accept it at this time.
No, Medicare is not a required qualification for the Access Pass program now.
Yes, when you enroll online, you’ll receive a digital card you can use for admission. If you enrolled in person, you can create an online account on the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis website to get a digital card. You can use either your digital or printed card for admission.
Online enrollment takes 5-to-7 business days for approval. In-person enrollment is immediate, and you’ll receive a temporary card that day to use until your membership is entered into the system, and your membership cards are mailed to you.
No, any resident of Indiana who is enrolled in the participating benefit services can apply and use the Access Pass.
