The Lilly Entry Hall offers over 2,500 square feet of open space at the main entrance to our newly expanded building. This grand and versatile area is perfect for welcoming guests to any event, with its open-floor design and modern amenities. The lobby provides a stunning introduction, making it an ideal location for receptions, exhibitions, and social gatherings.

Nestled amidst the rolling hills of Conner Prairie's north side, the Prairie House exudes a refined, rustic charm. Ample onsite parking is available for your convenience. The vaulted meeting space, adorned with expansive windows, opens to a covered balcony with breathtaking views of the scenic woodlands perfectly suited for wedding receptions, corporate retreats, and other large gatherings.

The real barn ambiance.

Set the perfect stage for a chic wedding, reception, or event at Featherston Barn. With rough-hewn posts and solid plank floors, the barn's authentic charm is framed by oversized barn doors that open onto an inviting 2,000 square foot patio. This patio is ideal for outdoor ceremonies or pre-meeting cocktails. Featherston Barn can accommodate up to 100 seated guests (10 per table), allowing space for a buffet, dance floor, display tables, and bar. For ceremony arrangements, the barn seats up to 120 guests, offering a dynamic and charming venue for any occasion.

Welcome larger groups to the Bayt Pavilion, a vast and versatile venue. Seating up to 315 guests at classic wooden picnic tables, the pavilion offers ample room for food and drink. The three-sided structure provides shelter from the elements while featuring a cozy fireplace for colder days and nights. Larger groups are welcome to spread out onto the surrounding grounds, enjoying the open space and beautiful scenery.

Picnic with a view.

Our mid-sized picnic shelter, Hilltop Shelter, is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle. It offers a stunning vista of sunsets over the prairie and the 1859 Balloon Voyage. Guests can also enjoy the adjacent volleyball court and tubing hill for outdoor fun. For seasonal comfort, the shelter features a stone fireplace and clear garage doors that can be closed during cooler weather.

The Picnic Shelter is perfect for small gatherings and birthday parties. Children can climb and slide on the nearby playground, while guests can relax in the shade. Your chance to take flight! The exhibit surrounding the 1859 Balloon Voyage offers an immersive experience with interactive activities, fun photo backdrops, and realistic town square stores. After hours, this venue can be reserved to host a memorable cocktail reception or social gathering.

The highlight of this experience is stepping into the gondola of our tethered balloon and being lifted 370 feet over Conner Prairie. Available for hourly rental.

A House with an Eli Lilly Connection

Shen Ho Shi is one of Conner Prairie's crown jewels tucked away in the woods and not open to the public. This historic home is available for corporate retreats, weddings, and parties year-round. Eli Lilly purchased the 1910s house in 1949 and refurbished it using Chinese art and architectural touches. Today, guests can see the intricately painted ceilings and Asian-architectural elements in this unique space and enjoy the long screened in porch that overlooks the White River. The house features a main seating area and four breakout rooms.
